J&J TuesDay

They got up at 8:00 this morning and asked for Oreo Cookie as breakfast.

They started fussing when I put the cookie away.

I made grilled sandwich for breakfast for my adorable dragons. After breakfast they watched cartoons and Hi5. The at 11:00 o clock they asked for lunch time.

So, I gave them lunch. Fruits and lasagna.

and Peanut butter overload ice cream for dessert.

As you can see how Jutsine spit the food out and eat the watermellon like a pro. It was humid this morning and this two looked like a batang grasa from the food they ate so time for bubble bath. They supposed to get a bath before going to bed but i decided to gave them earlier today.

As soon as I opened the fence they lamb chop maneuvered herself going to the front door. She wanted to go out but unfortunately, she didn't know how to open the door yet. So, off to the bath tub they went.

After the nice and refreshing bath they went to Jake's room to put some clothes on. The lambchop was sort of a tease because instead of staying in one place while i was taking buckaroo out from the tub, she was there running around and she even want to get down the stairs by herself. This is Justine double the handful, double the trouble and double the fun.

Then, I took them downstairs to wait for their Dada and continued their Hi5 shows. Good thing Joe came home early at 2:00 o clock and took Jake for an afternoon nap at 3:00. Justine went to nap at around 2:00 in the afternoon.

She played with Jake's easter bunny when she got up from her nap. Joe and Jake got up at around 5:30 and we headed to the China Buffet for dinner.

There you go peeps, J&J fun Tuesday. I wonder what will be their Wednesday tomorrow. Good night!

She is Loving the Kuya's Bed

One evening Jake woke up at the middle of the night crying and transferred to our room. Justine also woke up when I put her in the crib and cried out loud as she didn't want to sleep in her crib at that time. So, we slept together in Jake's bed. She didn't go to sleep right away. She kept tossing and rolling and then got herself busy going up and down the bed. I was already half asleep when she started giving me kisses. I had no idea what time she went to sleep at that time. It probably very late because she got up 11:00 o clock in the morning. Thats was the first time she got up that late. She probably love sleeping at Jake's bed. Soon, she's gonna be sleeping in her own bed , in her own room. Time flies by so superfast!

Jake's Adventure and Exploration

Jake got the chance to explore the beach trail the last time we were at Raccoon Creek State Park.
He went for a nature trekking and explore the woods.
He just followed where the trails would take him.
He notices stuff like trees, leaves, mushrooms and more
And the most interesting piece that caught his attention as explorer was the dirt and chunks of wood sticks.
He continued with his long walk.
Didn't bother how far he had walked.
He just kept walking and walking and not complaining if he was tired or not.
That was a long walk and I had to stopped him before we get lost in that trail. And on the way back he asked me to carry him waaaaaa.
I put him down we were closed to the bridge and there he was so happy. He enjoyed throwing some rocks. Only Jake's knows what was in his mind on that adventure, what information he gathered or learned while exploring the trail.
Hope you had fun exploring with him. have a blessed Sunday everyone!

Potty Training #2 - 8/27

I was so determined to potty train Jake since he showed interest already in sitting on the potty. So, yesterday we spent most of our time going back and forth to the bathroom. I let him sit in the potty for half and hour hoping he will poop. But to no avail he wasn't pooping at all as he control himself not to poop. He didn't poop the whole day yesterday even if i let him sit in the potty for four times. This morning I take him right away to the bathroom as I know he would poop because he didn't poop yesterday. He sat in the potty for another 30 minutes until he got tired and asked for diaper. I wasn't succeeded again with my potty training mission hehehehe. It disappoints me because after lunch today I forgot to take him to the bathroom and he pooped in his diaper. He told me after he already did it. Oh boy! why is it so hard to potty train a toddler. I will still try my hardest to keep him in schedule and learn the proper way.

Georgia Bulldogs Have my Heart

Authored by Greg Fletcher

I graduated from the University of Georgia. Therefore, it is understood that I am true Georgia Bulldog fan. My parents and siblings all cheer for Bulldogs when football season starts. The SEC that is the division my favorite team is a member, is known for powerhouse football. It has produced several BCS National Champions in the last ten years. My mighty Georgia Bulldogs may have not won the big game but they have been to several bowl games and I am proud of that. We have also been crowned the SEC Champions. Mark Richt is the current head coach and I love what he has done with the team. He has been since 2001. My husband and I enjoy spending our Saturday afternoons watching the Georgia Bulldogs play onSatalite tv. Since we were not able to get tickets to the season opener, we will be at home cheering on our favorite team and hoping for a victory. We are definitely hoping for a victory this year against our arch nemesis the Florida Gators. With A J Green at wide receiver and Shaun Chapas at fullback on our offensive, I think we have a great season in store for us.

Looking at the Sky on Friday

It's been a while since I participated in this Friday meme Looking at the Sky on Friday. I got lazy taking pictures with the sky and uploading pictures. But when we were in NYC i took few photos of the sky.

Why do you like watching at the sunset or sunriseor even the moon at night? What is it with the sunset and sunrise why it draws a lot of attention and they always look amazing?

A tidbits of information from the soruce; wikipedia. Sunset is the daily disappearance of the sun below the horizon as a result of the Earth's rotation. The atmospheric conditions created by the setting of the sun, occurring before and after it disappears below the horizon, are also commonly referred to as "sunset". The time of sunset is defined in astronomy as the moment the trailing edge of the sun's disk disappears below the horizon in the west.

The View

Thanks for the guest post by Neville Mcintyre

Anything can happen while watching The View on satellite tv. The show is the brainchild of Barbra Walters and Bill Geddes. Ms. Walters is also one of the five hosts and I hate to say it but she looks so old in HD. Seriously click here for HD channels and let me know what you think. Anyways, she is a respected journalist and has hosted a few other programs, including The Today Show. Whoopi Goldberg is the newest host to join the show. She is an Oscar winning actress and isn't afraid to say what needs to be said and often creates controversy forher opinions. Joy Behar has been on he show since the beginnng. She is a stand-up comic and has a one liner for any situation. Sherri Shephard is another stand-up comic and actress. She likes to discuss her lack of love life and her son. The last host is Elizabeth Hasselback, a former Survivor contestant and fashion expert. They are not afraid to tackle any topic and have a day of Hot Topics each week, usually on Monday. They can talk about the latest celebrity scandal or the newest health treatment. They also interview actors, musicians and comics. People like to promote their latest projects on the show and are generally well received. However, they also have fashion shows and the latest gadgets. With so many hosts you will get a variety of view points and have a chance to learn about just about everything.

Potty Training #1 8/26

I decided to force the buckaroo to sit in a potty after that incident when he pooped in the bathtub while taking a bath. He doesn't like sitting in a small potty but I got him sit in a toilet bowl last night. I held him for like half an hour because he said he wants to go potty. That half hour he was playing around until he got tired and asked me to come down. First potty training not successful but at least he sit on the potty.

Safe and Secure While I Am at The Store

Guest post of the week by Robby Sykes

I feel secure knowing that my family's belongings are safe with adt security in New Jersey , then I set my home security alarm. I can leave with the family for a full day of shopping. It is a great chance to spend some quality time together while picking up some favorites for later treats. I want the best for my family.

When my family goes grocery shopping, it really is a full day excursion. We like to buy local fruits and vegetables from growers at farmer's market around the area. You just cannot beat that homegrown taste! When we buy our groceries, we are out all day. Sometimes we stop at local produce growers where we can take hours to pick fresh berries and ripe fruits straight off the tree.

Besides frequenting the local growers, I take my family to the supermarket and pick up goods from the deli and baked goods sections. I look forward to smelling the hearty scents coming from the freshly baked breads and the soft, sweet fragrance of warm donuts. As a special treat, my family picks out a favorite donut or treat before leaving the store. Even the smallest things like a family trip to the grocery store can leave you with the warm fuzzies inside.

Sharing and the Finger

I've been meaning to share this video but I keep forgetting it. The first video was about sharing. Toddler usually egocentric and don't like to share food or toys to others. Well, in this video Jake shared some of his marshmallow to Justine. He doesn't like marshmallow that much that's why he shared some of it to Justine.

This was a video of our lil lambchop who was back then used middle finger so often to point on something instead of the index finger.

Great birthday party done online

This guest post from Edgardo Rosa

I wanted to throw my son a very special birthday party. He looks forward to his birthday and enjoys the party atmosphere and playing with the other children. I don't really live anywhere near any party supply stores and don't have a car to get to ones that are too far away so I put my hughesnet satellite Montana to use and started looking online for a way to plan his very special birthday party.

I found a site called partycity.com. I was awestruck. It had everything I needed right there in one place. The prices were absolutely great and the selection was second to none. Since his birthday is right around Halloween I even ordered him his favorite Halloween costume from the site. Yes, they carry costumes also.

I was able to get everything from party favors to invitations from partycity.com. It really was a life saver for me and the shipping was really fast. I plan on using them again for my husbands surprise birthday party. I never knew planning a party could be as easy as a couple mouse clicks. I remember the days when you had to travel from store to store getting party supplies, those days are in the past for me.

The J&J Day

I just want to share this funny day i have with my dragons today. For the first time Justine woke up at almost 11 o clock this morning. She woke at the middle of the night last night when I transferred her to her crib and didn't go back to bed until 3:00 or something in the morning. I slept at Jake's room because Jake's moved to our room at the middle of the night. So, Justine was with me last night at jake's room. I was already half asleep when she started kissing me and going up and down from the bed. That was why she got up so late today.

Meanwhile, Jake got up the usual time like 7:30 or something in the morning. Then watch his cartoons and hi5 shows. Jake's time out place now is his room and he hates it. But this past couple of days I tried to put him in a corner for time out. He is not seriously following the 2 minutes time out and always have this teasing look in his face. In order he'll stay in the corner until time out is over i watched him this morning and giving him a stern look. So, while he was on time out the hi5 show was on. He memorize all the songs and moves of hi5. I control myself not to laugh when out of nowhere he stood up from the time out corner and start dancing the hi5 North, south song with stamping and clapping stepping. That made his time out done in no time. i let him go to finish watch or dance the hi5. My buckaroo is a funny lil man and so is my lil lambchop. This is how my J&J day went.

You Can See Dead People With Ghost Whisperer

Thanks for the guest post by Kristofer Bartlett

I was annoyed when Joan of Arcadia, one of my favorite television shows at the time, went off the air, to be replaced with "Ghost Whisperer," another show with a supernatural theme but a worldview that was much less Christian and more New Agey.

I was determined not to like it, but then I happened upon an episode in which Melinda Gordon, a young antique shop owner who is capable of communicating with the dead, befriends the ghosts of several orphans who were killed in an orphanage fire several decades earlier. Her task was two-fold: to convince the boys to "cross over" and to persuade their onetime companion, now an elderly mogul, not to destroy the building where they still reside.

I found myself so touched by the story that I couldn't help giving the series a bit of a pass. One thing I had to say for Melinda: she was a lot less angsty than Joan. Played by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Melinda is a very kind woman who never charges for her psychic services. She also tells very few people what she is capable of doing. Her husband Jim knows, though, and is used to her abilities taking her life in very strange directions.

Now, whenever I catch "Ghost Whisperer" on tv since I had my satellite dish installation, I tune in to see how Melinda will help the ghost of the week.

Watching Good Luck Charlie

I like watching this new American family sitcom on Disney Channel in titled Good Luck Charlie. It's a TV series centers on the Duncan family, who are still adjusting to the birth of their fourth child, Charlotte "Charlie" Duncan. Charlie is a 9 months old baby who is very smart and funny in her little way. It's annoying when watching our favorite show and all of a sudden the connection went out. I don't know if the channel or the network has problem or our cable provider. It happens many times to this channel which encounters lots of technical problem. We even called a technician twice to have the cable fix.

My husband on the other hand is looking forward for the football season. He is thinking of getting Direct TV as it is the number satellite provider in the country and partner with local tv satellite. They offer great packages for as low as $29.99/month that can access 45 HD channels. In case you might want more channels in your HD you can upgrade it to choice ultimate package and enjoy the HD DVR and HD receiver as part of the 2 upgrades that they offered. Now, this packages, deals and offers really sound enticing to switch to Direct TV. We checked this out already on www.localtv-satellite.com. With so many HD channels to enjoy with Direct TV for a very reasonable price what more could you ask for? This is like total entertainment at the comfort of your own TV.

Most of our neighbors have already switched to Direct TV. Make a decision now and visit localtv-satellite.com when you decide to switch. We already find our provider sucks but we can't make a switch right now as we are extremely busy with lots of things. At least we now know where to go if we decide to get Direct TV. So, get the best with Direct TV. Check it out now!

Bully Justine

One of our trips to Slippery Rock when Justine already had her long nap at GrandMa's house and she stayed awake in that 1 hour drive going home. Tried lots of things to do to amuse her self otherwise she would fuss and scream.

The mischievous grin of a neophyte monster say it all of what she is gonna do for fun so she won't get bored.

Make fun of kuya Jake while he was sleeping.

Jake doesn't usually take a nap if we are in Slippery Rock. So he snoozed by the time we headed home but the lil girl monster was all up and kept poking or playing rather his sleeps.

Most of the time Justine fall asleep in the car but at that time she was awake as an owl and she was bored. She was whining and screaming but I ignored her until it was so quite all of a sudden. When I turned around to check on her because I was reading something on that trip, there she was making fun of Jake's lips. I'm telling you this girl is a bully. That is why she gets picked on by Jake as she always gets into Jake's toy, food and everything he is holding. She also fights back at him and screams if she gets defeated.

Protection from Leaves

One important part of our house specifically in the roof is the rain gutter. This narrow channel called the rain gutter collects rainwater from the roof of a building and diverts it away from the structure, typically into a drain. If dried leaves, twigs, and other tree debris are left in the gutter unattended it basically will cause the gutter to fail. All that dirt may cause clogged into your gutter that stops the water from running through away from the structure. If the water stays so heavy up in the gutter it more likely will cause it to collapse and break your gutter. So, protection your rain gutter from the leaves by calling gutters Richmond, Virginia. Fall season is coming and you need to find someone to check the gutter of your house and fix it if there is any problem. Perhaps you would want a quality solid aluminum leaf cover that provides superior gutter protection that will filter leaves and tree debris to keep your downspouts clog free. Well then, LeavesOut of Virginia can handle that kind of things and all your gutter needs. They serve the northern and western Virginia so if you live around that area, contact any of their expert for free onsite cost evaluation. So, good luck!

Peek-A-Boo!

Where is Justine?

Where could she be?

Is she hiding behind the curtains?

Peek-a-boo!!! I see you!

Here she is messing with the curtains again. She broke our curtain rod because she wants to look outside the window. She also like playing the curtains and Jake follows everytime he sees Justine enjoying it. They both following each other's action good or bad. It's fun watching this two playing and fighting. The lil lambchop knows how to fight back already. She is small but she is sometimes a bully.

Jake In Action

Few days ago I had a voice mail chat with my parents back home. The voice chat turned into chatshow as Jake put up a real show for his Grandparents. I wasn't able to take photos or video because I was having fun watching my son sweating like a pig dancing the Hi5 fun, energy songs. The next day he was still dancing Hi5 at it's funny how he familiarize all the dance moves and tried to copy them.

It's Almost Time For Kickoff!

Written by Sherri Hicks

Wow! I can't believe my baby son's senior football season is about ready to begin. I am so excited about their first game of the season in two weeks. After setting the home security on my home, I drove over to the football field to watch him practice. When I got there I noticed all the improvements that had been made toover the field. The old ticket booth had been torn down and a new booth as well as a new press box had been built. They were also going to install air conditioning in the football locker room. I love watching my son play sports. He is a defensive lineman and also the kicker for his team. Although he says he is the worst kicker ever, last year he successfully completed the first two point conversion in five years. By the time I finished looking around the team had finished doing the Oklahoma practice drill and was starting to run sprints. I have to admit my son is not the fastest player on the team but what he lacks in speed he makes up for in strength and intelligence. How many defensive players can boast of a touch down? He made one last year when the other team fumbled. I think he's the smartest player on the team. I love fall and football season!

She grabbed this pop out from her brother's hand and when I gave it back to Jake he didn't want ot anymore because Justine already licked it. Justine is quiet a handful now and equally hyper as Jake. Have a happy Monday ya'll and enjoy the week ahead.

Smart Moving Solution

I remember that last time that we moved. We had a lot of heavy objects that had to be moved up our front steps and into the house. My husband pretty much did the whole thing himself. He is a real man that way. It would have been nice if we could have done it a little bit at a time. For that, we would have needed a good moving and storage company for storage. Maybe the move would have been easier if we had used mobile storage. The next time that we move, it will be long distance moving, and we will most certainly use some kind of storage facility to store some of our things. So, if you plan of moving soon, don’t take everything all at once in doing all the hard work. Get Smart Box Portable Storage and store all your appliances and furniture for easy moving. I know how stressful and tiring the moving is, that's why Smart Box provide the right storage solution for your moving. So, check out www.smartboxusa.com and get a quick quote today.

Justine's First HairCut

Justine's New Look

I think nothing change with Justine's look as I only trimmed her hair. She hates it when I put hair clams to her hair and since it's in the back she can't get it off.
So, the other day I decided to cut her hair and level it and cut someof the curls. Those long curls always stick to her neck every time she had dum-dum pop. She also rubs her eyes because of the long bangs.
My little lambchop was very cooperative when I trimmed her hair. So, I gave her a dum-dum lollipop as reward.
This is now the back looks like. What do you think folks?
